Day 1,Proceed to Negombo

Arrival to the srilanka and warmly welcome by Jaampathi lanka Holydays tours representative, proceed to Negombo. Check in to Jetwing Blue or Similar Hotel. A characteristic fishing town in north of Colombo Srilanka, it is 6km from the international Airport. Negombo is the fifth largest city in the country after the capital Colombo, Kandy, Jaffna and Galle, and it is the second largest city in Western province after Colombo. This town is a gourmet’s paradise with seafood in plenty.Old world fishing craft like the outrigger canon and the catamaran bring seer,skipjack,herring and mullet,pomfret and amber-jack while lobster and prawns caught in the lagoon.

Day 2,Negombo, Dambulla, Sigiriya and ,Polonnaruwa

Specially prepared ayurvedic poridge drink experience After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya which is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka and a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. (Approximate 3 hrs) Sigiriya or Sinhagiri ( pronounced see-gi-ri-yə) is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high. According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. On a small plateau about halfway up the side of this rock he built a gateway in the form of an enormous lion. The name of this place is derived from this structure —Sīhāgiri, the Lion Rock. The capital and the royal palace was abandoned after the king's death. It was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Day 3,Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura

You can experience especially prepared sri Lankan food arranged with ayurvedic recipes. Polonnaruwa. The island’s medieval capital (11c. & 12 c) rose to fame after the decline of Anuradhapura. The city in its day was fortified with three concentric walls, beautified with parks and gardens and sanctified by many shrines. Polonnaruwa shows the interesting blend of the influence of the South Indian Hindu culture on the Sinhala Buddhist art and architecture in the scattered shrines and monuments still venerated daily by devotees. The Siva Devales are interesting transposition of the Hindu style of decor. Other interesting ruins are, the King’s Council Chamber the floral stone pillars of Nissanka Lata Mandapaya, the Royal Citadel, Kumara Pokuna (baths), the Thuparama with its original vaulted roof, the exquisite circular Vatadage relic house, lavished with moonstones, guard stones, and sculptured railings, Kiri Vehera, the best preserved of Sri Lanka’s un-restored dagobas. Day 4,Anuradhapura and Trincomalee

Anuradhapura a major city in Sri Lanka. It is the capital city of North Central Province, Sri Lanka and the capital of Anuradhapura District. Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient Sri Lankan civilization. It was the third capital of the Kingdom of Rajarata, following the kingdoms of Tambapanni and Upatissa Nuwara. The city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was the center of Theravada Buddhism for many centuries. The city lies 205 km (127 mi) north of the current capital Colombo in Sri Lanka's North Central Province, on the banks of the historic Malvathu Oya. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and one of the eight World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. It is believed that from the fourth century BC until the beginning of the 11th century AD it was the capital of the Sinhalese. During this period it remained one of the most stable and durable centers of political power and urban life in South Asia. The ancient city, considered sacred to the Buddhist world, is today surrounded by monasteries covering an area of over sixteen square miles (40 km²). Day 5,Trincomalee And Katunayake Intl Airport

AS THE END OF THE EXPLORATION Is famed for its natural harbour. Described by Admiral Lord Nelson as the finest harbour in the world when he visited aboard HMS Seashore in 1770. It is ranked as the world’s 5th largest natural harbours. Second World War the harbour became thebase for the combined East Asian Fleet of the Allied Powers. It is the ideal beach resort. All water sports are available here including fishing and sea angling. Whales watching is a speciality.Located at the mouth of Sri Lanka’s longest river Mahaweli Ganga, Trinco’s most famous landmark is Fort Federick, a century and a half of British fortifications can befound here. The cliff known as Swami Rock on the tip of Fort Federick’s promontory is associated with a tragic romantic tale woven around a Dutch maiden who is believed to have jumped to her death from this spot seeing her fickle lover sailing away.The Thirukoneswaram Kovil which stands on the top most pinnacle of the Swamy Rock is a highly venerated Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. About 11 km from west of Trincoare the Kanniyai Hot-Springs, sacred to Hindus who believethem to be a creation of God Vishnu. The Dagoba enshrining the hair relics of the Buddha – Tiriyai dating back to 8th C. ADis a short distance from Trinco’s coast 15 km from Trincomalee off the Trincomalee-Horowpothana road lies the ancient Velgam Vehera temple dating back to 2 AD..
